Anytime we get our eyes off Jesus and continue to do life and ministry outside of Him than we step into dangerous territory by doing things in selfish gain by allowing our flesh to lead instead of remaining in the spirit. It produces fruit when we remain connected to the vine. In John 15:5 (TPT), Jesus says, "I am the sprouting vine, and you are my branches. As you live in union with me as your source, fruitfulness will stream from within you—but when you live separated from me, you are powerless."
We can't live separately from Him. We can but that was not how it was meant to be or how He intended it. In my time with Him this morning He reminded me of how He just wants to commune with His children on a daily basis.
The issue is many just don't know how to simply talk to Him. The enemy keeps us from being able to commune with Him the way He intended for us to (Adam and Eve in the garden before the fall) by speaking lies to us about what it should look like or that we just don't have that kind of access to Him and for the majority many just don't "feel" "worthy" to.
I plan on doing a video at some point speaking about this because I don't think I can type it all out lol I asked Him this morning to please show me any lies I've come into agreement with about Him even unintentionally and about how I can better commune with Him/Holy Spirit more throughout my day even in the little mundane things and in the midst of the noise and chaos of life because friend, He cares.
He wants us to talk to Him throughout the day, confide in Him, tell Him our problems and situations and ask Him questions and about our relationships and all the things in between. Though He is Holy, He is not too Holy for us not to talk to. He walked among us. He bridged the gap. He paid the price. He made the way. Jesus died so we can have that back with Him before the fall. Don't let religion lie to you in telling you it has to even look a certain kind of way either.
What you have between you and your Heavenly Father is special and unique. Allow Him to show you how to abide and commune with Him in a new way than previous times in your life. Stop listening to man and seek Him for yourself. Man is supposed to confirm what He has already spoken.
