As we close the door to 2023 and prepare to step over the threshold into 2024 I feel led to tell everyone to get ready. We are about to go into something we've never experienced before in previous years. 2024 will be a turbulent year for many. One filled with acceleration and anticipation. Jesus is on the threshing floor. He is preparing His bride. What we will experience individually will have a lot to do with how we have positioned ourselves in the previous year(s). Knowing the Father's heart and being able to hear His voice will matter tremendously. We are about to come into a time of chaos but He will be the peace in the chaos. It will be a time of the good mixed in with the bad. The spirit of religion won't stand. He will tear down all of the idols in each person's life and anything that was not built by Him will not be left standing. If it can be shaken it will be shaken. For those who are rooted in Him, seeking Him, established on the Rock, and who have learned how to rest IN Him will not be shaken and will not be moved by the dismantling. The remnant will shine with a light so bright that it can't and won't be hidden. Make no mistake about it He will pour out heaven's treasures that have been stored up for His children for such a time as this to help them in the midst of what is to come. I sat the last 2 days and have cried feeling an overwhelming sense of love the Father has for His children and yet grieving for everyone at the same time for what is to come. Some will come back to the fold while others will continue to reject Him following in their own ways.
Time is short. I didn't want to keep this word long and I will share more later on as the Lord allows but I feel led to say don't look back. Don't be like Lot's wife! Genesis 19:26 (NIV) But Lot’s wife looked back, and she became a pillar of salt. The past is gone. The good and the bad we have to learn to let go because we don't need to look back. I felt so strongly the message the Father gave about Lots wife. No matter what is happening keep your eyes focused on Jesus. Today I encourage you to surrender it all to Him.
There will be a further separating and sifting that is coming. Not just in the world but in the church as well. Repositioning will happen quickly as He wants to place you where you need to be to carry out His plans. He will give you a community to be established in. The thing is we have to stop seeing and hearing and believing with our flesh but instead we need to be making decisions based off of the spirit and the Holy Spirit. The way church has been done in previous years will not carry into this next season. It will be done very differently for many. He is calling us higher. He wants to take us above the chaos, above the noise, above the storm. My prayer is that you and your family will be made ready. But I have faith in my Father. I love Him so and I know He has me and mine. No matter what it may look like I trust Him. It may be painful but I will trust Him and I will keep clinging to Him. And in the end it will all be worth it. As we close the year I want to speak blessings over each of you! I speak healing and wholeness over you in Jesus name! I speak breakthrough and a fresh wind and fire to come into you. May you be found ready! Remember new wine can't fit in old wineskins. Amen!
Here's to keeping our eyes on Jesus, trusting in Him, walking with Him side by side, and that He will be the peace in our storm, the provision and abundance in our time of lack, our light in the darkness, our firm foundation while the rest of the world is falling apart. Our healer and redeemer. He is everything. And He is made available to us. Receive Him while He can still be found.
Happy New Year! I love you all!
The pic below I felt led to share in representation of the bridegroom bringing His bride through the door. He is making us ready Thank you Father!
